In 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first to summit Mount Everest. That same year, the jetboat was invented. With this new invention, Hillary strove to also become the first to tackle the Himalayas' greatest river: the Ganges. It was a perilous journey from ocean to sky, achieved while also battling grief, following the death of Hillary's wife and youngest daughter. A story of surmounting the insurmountable - both physically and mentally.
