After a life of hardship, 54-year-old Sandy Leo Laframboise is now a beacon of hope. A survivor of childhood prostitution and addiction, Sandy found healing through her First Nations culture. She discovered and embraced her Two-Spirit identity, embodying both male and female spirits. Today, Sandy dedicates her life to helping others, paying forward the compassion that saved her.
